[ 01 / What Ava Is ]
One assistant. Multiple systems.
Ava is intended to bring AI models, memory, voice, tools, automation, integrations, local components, and cloud models into one practical assistant.
Most AI chats begin with no context and end at the edge of the conversation. Ava is being developed around a different idea: an assistant should remember what is useful, communicate in the way you prefer, and connect intelligence to the tools where real work happens.
The current development build already brings together Ava's desktop interface, voice, persistent memory, selectable AI providers, user-supplied API keys, and personal or business conversations. Broader automation and integration work remains in development.
Ava is still being actively developed. The direction is clear, but implementation details and features may change before release.

These capabilities are present in the current Ava development build. They are still being refined and are not presented as a public release.
Voice input / speech-to-text
Speak to Ava and convert local voice input into text for the conversation.
Voice output / text-to-speech
Hear Ava respond through a spoken-output system designed for natural interaction.
Persistent / super-memory system
Retain useful context so each conversation does not have to begin from zero.
User-selectable AI providers/models
Switch supported providers and models directly from Ava's settings.
Users can add their own API keys directly through Ava's UI
